Xu Yucheng (徐雨程)

I am a PhD student at Hong Kong Baptist University, supervised by Prof. Lu Zhang. My research focuses on biosynthetic gene clusters (BGCs) and secondary metabolites. I develop AI-based methods for large-scale BGC mining, focusing on biologically meaningful representations of biosynthetic pathways and scalable exploration of genomic databases, as well as applications in metagenomic research to uncover microbial biosynthetic diversity and support natural-product discovery.
